Here’s How We Do It
We use your existing DSL, cable or T1 high-speed data line or we can set up your Hotspot Wi-Fi from scratch. That’s the easy part. Once you have a reliable, stable high speed connection, our technology embeds html, flash, or animation messages in the user’s session, but not their web browser or the computer itself. How do we do that? Here’s the process:
We configure your network to send all of the “get” requests to our Hotspot servers. Get requests are your web browser asking to see the web page you’ve chosen. The requests are tagged, fulfilled and then returned to the computer that asked for them – except Hotspot now adds the information you want customers to see. We’ve also designed the system to put the customer’s request first – so in the unlikely event that there is a delay, the added message will not show up; the requested page will.
